This Privacy Policy describes how Naveed Shamim ("we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use the WMC - Storage & File Manager mobile application (the "App") for Android.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy outlines that we do not collect personal identifiers and that all media operations are performed strictly on your local device.
1. Storage Permissions & File Access
To perform storage optimization, cache cleaning, and file management functions, the App requires access to your device's filesystem. We request the following permissions:
- READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE & WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Used to scan and safely delete junk media files, WhatsApp duplicate files, and cache.
- MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (All Files Access): Required on Android 11+ to analyze file directories, sort large documents, and perform secure clean-up actions outside of private app folders.
Important: All scanning, deleting, and moving of files happens 100% on your device. We do not transmit, copy, or upload your personal files, photos, videos, or documents to any remote servers.
2. Information Collection & Use
We do not collect or store any personal data. The App does not require user accounts, emails, or phone numbers to function.
3. Security of Your Files
The App includes a Private File Vault feature. Files moved to the Vault are protected locally on your device using on-device security protocols. We do not hold keys or access to your Vault files, and they cannot be retrieved if you uninstall the App or clear its storage without exporting them first.
4. Third-Party Advertising (AdMob)
To keep the App free to use, we display ads using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use pseudonymous data (such as advertising IDs and device details) to display relevant ads.

5. Children's Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
